The eye is drawn to look in the direction the young man is facing. But there's nothing there.?.?

While I would hate to give up that black shutter, I would have framed this image quite differently.

i think i know where you are coming from chato lets say if the bride and groom were to have traded places you would have got a little of there faces too giving a little bit more. i can quite clearly see what you have gone for and the image is ok i would attempt to lose the hole although it adds a little character . i would like to see more shots if possible

Like the shoot a lot and I'm usually not a fan of the non formal wedding shots but this one really captures the mood of the day. I'm too old school I guess but coming around to the new age. Only thing I didn't care for in the picture is the hole in the barn wall. Really think it should be cloned out. BTW, I thought barns were suppose to be red, yeah I live in the city so not a lot of barns around my house.

#1 Moments before the shot above
#2 The Bridal Party including 3 young ladies that made getting a photo harder than herding cats into a dishwasher
#3 The Bride and the 3 stray cats inside the barn. The girl on the left got cropped because she would not stand up straight, she kept hunching over. Rather than give up on the photo, I cropped her. But you can still see remnants of the hunch.
#4 The Groom, his mom & dad plus his 7 siblings. My own bride is on the far left. I got pick of the litter.
#5 The ringbearer was exhausted and decided to take a nap on grandpa, who is the father of the groom.

Faithfully Yours,
FP

to me it appears like you were taking your photos whilst stood next to someone who was also taking photos, its the angle and the way people are facing that makes me think that.
