Thanks, all! I didn't expect this would re-surface. It was taken in October last year.

I thought I'd run it through Topaz Denoise and sharpen it a bit (I didn't do pp back then) and add a few more panning/blurry shots I made around that time. I got the idea when AAA Magazine said New York City's experiment on turning Broadway in and around Times Square into a European-style piazza was a bad idea. Why? Because New York City, unlike cities in Europe, is not a place for anyone to stand still -- you'd be quickly swallowed by the continuous flow of traffic both vehicular and pedestrian. Few things characterize New York City best according to AAA than constant, blurry motion. Constant blurry motion? Hey, that may be a good way to capture New York...

#6) Pershing Square.


#7) Grand Central Terminal.

I don't remember if I posted this here but here's another panning shot, this time of a secret service trailing a UN diplomat on his way to dinner with President Obama last September at the Met.
