Sorry if I've missed this somewhere else on the board (or somewhere in the 45 pages of this thread!) but what's your rule for asking permission?
I realize that people on the street generally can't stop you from taking their picture (unless you exploit their image for commercial profit) but when do you ask permission? What about the homeless or poor? It feels unseemly to me to exploit people's pain or situation for my bourgeoisie art.
