Fair enough comment. I also agree with you on the ''ho-hum'' shots. Some, I would not normally post, but want to get a variety of styles and ideas to get people to contribute. Street photography is not easy when starting out. Most folks crawl, before they run..

I will say this though. Many folks have different ideas and opinions on what street photography is and or what it should be. I too have my opinions and ideas. But who's ideas and opinions on are right on what is a ''ho-hum'' shot?
I have come to appreciate all forms of street photography. Some good and some not so good.

Ok, How about some rainy weather shots. I love shooting in the rain when IT rains in L.A. My wife tells me I am nutz, but how else will I get these types of street pictures. I am grateful for my rain proof lenses and cam. I love walking in the rain. Just me, my hat and my cam.

I like the series. But I really like the rain shots I think they deserve a thread of their own.

I thought about that, but wanted to show a variety of street images.

If this is not a street shot, I do not know what is!

OK...These are truly some snap shots I took with this.''use once and throw away'' camera...
Just something I had to try out as I had never used one before. While the image quality
was not great, it was better than I thought it would be. I bought another one and have
started to shoot it. This time I will pay attention to the light and composition...With this one, I was so anxious to get through it, that I just snapped away...
