Default Some people dress for the cold - Some Don't

These five shots were taken over the last month or so. Did you ever just say, "What the hell, it ain't that cold," and regret it?

This lady was ready for the cold, but Still felt cold. Basically a 100 percent crop...

In the next four pictures, we have those who prepared and those who didn't...

This woman should have listened to hubby. He's just fine...

...and I felt like yelling, "It's a good restaurant, go in and warm up."

A scene from my block in early December...

In this picture we see the fallacy of dressing for running, when you're Not running....

If anyone posts any of those Florida or LA pictures of people on the beach, or strolling around in bathing suits, in this thread, I WILL track you down and make you pay....

John Gottie Junior is a good friend of mine. And he has time on his hands. Might as well make your will out right now. And DON'T say I didn't give fair warning....

Posting that scene, when I'm living in THIS is living dangerously!!!!

Dave, I don't have any pics to prove it, but we just had the longest stretch of cold weather in our history. Many overnights in the upper teens and low twenties. Busted pipes all over town and iced over trees. Rare, but I think this global warming thing is responsible,,,

The weird thing about global waming is context. Here in New York, everyone is talking about the "brutal cold Winter." And as a boiler mechanic, I am BUSY. On the other hand, checking an actual comparison with "normal," (i.e. compared to the records of all Winters since the 1880's) this is actually a warmer than average Winter.

I'm about to go out into the cold and brutal night and do some street shooting. I'll be wearing my long johns, gloves, hat, etc, etc - Yet it's about 20 degrees. Thirty years ago, it might have been around zero.

Hey, don't confuse these remarks as meaning you're off the hook...

it 20 degrees here now going down to 10 tonight having a bad cold spell and 10 inches of snow at the moment. Luckily just saw the snow plow come through.

What gets me about the cold is how some people still wear shorts when they go out running or women go with short skirts and no hosiery..........

It was 5 degrees on the Beach on Friday when I was at the construction site in Monmouth Beach, NJ. All we have is a frame and some plywood and a few windows in so far. Not the right time of year for this stage of building. The air compressors were getting so cold they'd freeze up so we couldn't run the nail guns.

It will be 33 below tomorrow night, right now about -26 below...this is relatively normal for January/ early February out here.

I have not seen any real change in the weather pattern out here over the years and I lived out here for many decades.
