Default Goings on at the Stillwater Bar and Grill - C&C welcome

So far, I haven't visited any of the bars on my block, with the exception of Cucina de Pecse, which I've gone to in the past because of their superb Italian cuisine (And the cheapest price in town for such good food).

But I must say that the Stillwater Bar and Grill looks like a fun place. The people are friendly, booze is, well booze, and all I have to do is point a camera in the general direction of someone and they start posing...

(ISO 3200, handheld, no flash - Sigma DP2)

These people all know each other and went into this act as soon as they saw I had a camera in my hands...

And she certainly appears to be enjoying the food...

nice street series, don't you love the east village. People there are so easy going.

I've lived here on and off since 1965, and in my last apartment, I was there for 31, years until the Landlady announced she was doubling my rent. Moving from 7th Street to 4th Street is not exactly moving out of the neighborhood, but as interesting as my old block was, THIS block is a 24/7 show.

There are people who come down here that the neighborhood (any neighborhood) could do without...

But yes, people are mostly good natured and friendly.

Dave, this is your best street work yet. Well done and I must say that the DP2 is serving you well at ISO 3200!
Are you using manual hyperfocal focusing?

Well, the DP2 HAS to be focused - It's not one foot to infinity - But yes, I am trying to set shots up for making use of the hyperfocal distance.

ISO 3200 is a mixed bag. For color, I need at least some light. If a shot doesn't work well in color, I convert to B&W, which doesn't care about areas of chroma disturbance. I prefer color, so when you see B&W, you can be reasonbably sure (with some exceptions) that it didn't work in color.

(Noise Ninja or equivalent is a must for 3200)
