Default Playground

After enjoying everyone pictures for months here, I finally got my first real camera Saturday and started shooting, here are my firsts!

#1 My son jumping...

#2 My daughter wishing she was on "that" swing...

Sorry I don't know how to put the text between the images.

Congratulations on the new camera, looks like you have 2 willing models so I'm sure you will get a lot of use and some lovely photos

Which camera did you go for?

There can be some great angles to play with at a play park so it is worth putting yourself into some strange positions to get these angles.

For example this wasn't a high shot but by my laying on the ground it gives more impact..... remember always wear old clothes when going out with the kids

Looking forward to seeing your next ones!!!

Great shots, The last is especially good with that look of longing that every parent has seen so many times!

Thanks!

Ended up getting the T2i, kit lens here, waiting on the 70-200 4L. I love it, love this forum even more for all the support and advice I'm a complete novice just upgraded from my blackberry camera :P.

Ruthless, these are two very nice pictures - you captured som enice emotins here

BTW, when writing a new post, you can upload your shots with the little symbol right next to the smily icon... I think it's called a pager-clip. Click on it and a new window opens - upload your photos one after another. When you uploaded all of your shots, just position the cursor where you want your shot to be inserted and click on the little arrow on the right side of the paer-clip. Choose the image you want to insert - done

I'm sure you will have fun. With kids especially get down to their level, we see them every day from our normal heights so taking a photo from their world is generally much more compelling and interesting to the viewer.

Also not every photo has to be straight, use some angles to exaggerate things, basically, play..... you have digital, it isn't really costing anything extra and if something doesn't work you've learnt and if it does you've also learnt.
