Default St Patricks day.....

Hi folks....These are images I made last year in 2009 as I was retiring my faithful K10D..I will be going out later today to see what I can get, if anything. Not sure where I will go yet as I see Green every ware. Maybe, I will just stick to my neighborhood...

Anyway, these are from last year....This was from a Post I did at Pentax Forums last year.

Hi folks. Well, I took my K10D out for the last time today. It has been through allot the past couple of years. Actually I bought it in 2006....It has 45209 shutter actuation's..Amazing..I have dropped it out of my truck twice, I dropped it off a bench at the park, I dropped it off a pier 30 feet into the sand, it has been to the desert and been in the rain and it took a faulty trigger switch to do it in...It has been sticking for the past few weeks, but it has gotten to the frustrating point...I thought about sending it to Pentax to have if fixed up, but then I have two K20D's just sitting, so why not send it to the closet....All in all, I could not be more pleased with the product...I kicked its butt and it kept on going...
I took these images yesterday to give it a proper send off...After all it is St Patrick's day..

Stunning!

Generally speaking I've lived the last 31 years on the same block as McSorleys Ale House - In other words, "ground zero." So I used to hide out in my apartment until the day was over. This year, I'm four blocks south, so may very well take my chances...

I didn't get diddly squat. Indeed, I'm only posting these four image just to keep up the "game."

This one was taken during the day...

Only the young lady was "appropriately" dressed....

This next one, I wouldn't normally even keep as a reference. But the guy who was "harrasssing me" merely wanted to be in the picture. At 1/20 of a second, that wasn't going to happen...

But since he wanted his picture taken I was happy to oblige.

He then dragged his unwilling and busy friend over, to err, join the "shoot."
