This is a very nice set you have here - thank's for posting! Would you mind posting them a little bigger, so we can take a better look? That would be great

BTW, you've got some amazing shots on your flickr - wow!

We actually prefer that photos embedded in forum posts are kept to a smaller size. At one point, we asked members to keep them down to 640x480 pixels. See this old post about it:

http://forums.steves-digicams.com/ge...ur-photos.html

We have now raised the limits to 1024 pixels on the longest side, but still prefer it if they're kept a bit smaller for embedding. IOW, if an image size is going to exceed around 1024 pixels on it's longest side, it's best to include a link to the larger version, versus embedding it in a post here.

You'll find a good thread on how to post images here, and you'll see some comments from me in the second post about image dimensions and file size:

http://forums.steves-digicams.com/ge...oto-forum.html

Keep in mind that we still have a number of members without high speed internet access, so larger images can impact page load times for them, making it harder for them to view threads, especially when multiple photos are embedded.

Also, the most common monitor resolution in use by internet users is still only 1024x768 pixels. A lot of members may be using laptops and netbooks (or even smart phones to browse), too. So, when posted photos are too large, that makes it harder for many members to view images (since they may have to scroll up and down; and/or left and right to see the entire image).

Now, a bit larger than posted would be fine. But, please keep in mind that smaller can work better for many viewers.

Thank you sir! From what I understand from JimC's post, the forum prefer's small attachments due to bandwidth issues.

I could be wrong, though. He never specified if he replied to you or me. Anyways, flickr only gives us 500x333 and 1024x683 to choose from so I guess we have to stick to the smaller one. Sorry about that bro.

All the shots that I post here at Steve's are 800px or 1024px on the longest side... and that works fine

Talking about your latest set (and your flickr shots)... I love the way you use the light, don't matter if natural or not!

These are great picks and I enjoy them a lot. Lighting, colors, saturation and overall composition are excellent. Hope to see more photos from you!
