Default Concert: Simple Minds

Here are a some shots from the Simple Minds concert after the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix. They are my favorite band so what a bonus it was watching the F1's and seeing them in concert after the race.

This was my first time shooting at a concert and don't shoot people a lot so be easy on me

Looks like you did a good job with this, so does that mean we might see some more people shots from you?

The first is so close to being a killer shot, just needed to be framed wider or further right.

Good exposure throughout as would be expected..... shame there is no audio

Thanks Mark, Only got to fire off some very quick shots as when security saw that 1 series camera with a 70-200 f2.8 they were quick to jump on me. After my second warning it was time to put the camera away. Seems like I was the only one targeted as everyone else with a PS or Mobile didn't receive the same treatment as me.

RAW saved the day with exposure as I didn't get a chance to play around with exposure settings. Good learning curve for me from these shots.

Got to love security!!! The hassle was worth it for getting these shots though

No need to be humble about these shots...

They look like it's what you do for a living - Great work!

Nice shots. Wow - been a while since I listened to them. I think I'll have to dig out some of their tunes. Thanks for the inspiration.

Terrific shots, Concert's security are very strict on people with pro looking dslr's.

ps. I notice some members are using the colour text facility in posts so as to conflict with one forum theme or the other
