this is superb...... really a great shot hards80 i dont know if it would be possible or not to try and lose the glass display case??? but still with or without a very clean shot

It is a very wonderfully executed image. I especially like seriousness of it. Great job with the lighting as well and the color balance is spot on.

thank you guys. with the epl1 i am feeling more comfortable to shoot more of these candid people shots as it is less imposing than my 50d. so i may be posting more in this forum, with some street type shots.

simple- yea the display case could probably go, i played with it a little, but it would take some time to get the pattern on the granite from looking too repeating. but with a little time that could improve things a bit.

Mark, sorry for that, i thought it looked familiar when i posted, but wasnt sure from where. lol. but it draws parallels to you shot, just on the opposite side of the world.

I dont know, i really enjoyed your first image, had a nice color balance and good expressions as well. interesting parallels without even really trying to draw them.
