Ok, now in the second pose your explanation fits, but is really unnecessary. Its a classic pose as compared to the first odd one. The play of light and shadow is pretty good. Is there something funny going on where the thighs meet the torso? There seems to be pixel smears there. Is that was they are? The material has a nice B&W sheen to it.

That could be as I adjusted the RED and YELLOW sliders in CS4 to enhance the B/W look...

i think the breast on the left handside as im viewing is a little burned out?? again it is a good decent shot but i like a little left to the imagination i think you are really getting to grips with this nhl

..... an idea maybe use a wooden spindle chair for her to sit on next time (straddle back to front ) and if the model smokes add the cigarette too and capture the smoke

First pose - The eyes are off for me. They almost look mid-blink. I think having them a little more open or all the way shut would have worked better. Also the hand by the head looks very static, or maybe just awkward.

Second - I like this one.

I think the first one is very good. I would have tried a larger aperture to defocus the background a little more.
The second one I like much better. There is always room for improvement but with this one I can't see how to do that, maybe the entire background dark?
Nice shot.

The "Bynx's arm" with the B/W layer disabled

I like the play of light and shadow. The pose, while similar to the B&W version, isnt as awkward looking. Im watching a tv series called Spartacus: Blood & Sand. The hand maidens are dressed simlar and this girl could easily be one of them.
