Hi NHL, as you know there is no issue with this sort of shot at Steve's, but can you please mark the title to warn people. I've edited this one for you.

Thanks,

Mark

Hehe, Big Brother is watching, although most of the time it is checking for spammers or seeing if someone has given totally the wrong advice.

I like this shot BTW.... sure I'm a man LOL. The lighting and shadow are good, the main thing I don't like is what I guess to be the shadow of an octobox on the right.

Mark

That effect was done on purpose

The main light was coming from the left (see the shadow casts on the floor...)
A 2nd defocus patterned beam light up the rear background from the right and an umbrella was put in front to cast that soft shadow!

Its funny how tough it is to make the human body look good. Not gangly or in some weird pose. I find erotography to be really tough to do. For example in this pose I dont understand why she has her hand up beside her head like that. I always question why, unless the pose is self explanatory. Thats why I stick to architecture and scenery.

i really like the black and white tones in this shot. combined with the directional lighting it really shows off the curves of the body very well.

Lift up the arm brings up the whole chest and slender the waist
-> Standing on one leg magnifies this effect and also enhances the hip:

Thank you all for the feedbacks !!!

I'm trying to be cold and rational, and make some clever comments about the pose, the light and so on. But i can't. Sorry.
