Default Sidewalk Views from Sunday's Parisian Promenade

Just joined a local meetup group a few weeks back and went to an event they were photographing on Sunday. Here are a few of the shots...

1. Experimenting a little with conversion to B/W.

2. There were several food vendors along the walks.

3. She was walking her dog in the poodle parade.

4. Tried adding a little grain - again experimenting. A family watching the poodle parade.

5. This guy worked hard. It was very hot day around 93 and he was all over playing.

6. Just as I was about to leave I decided to take one last shot.

I'm with Markus. #4 is my fav and the grain ''really'' helps. what are you using for the conversion?

Thanks Markus and Javier.

I used Photoshop for the conversions. I don't really know what I am doing. I just made a B/W layer then moved each slider back and forth until something looked decent.

After converting and flattening the layers I added another copied layer and just added a little grain effect.
