Default Fade Away

This is something totally new for me... so please don't be to rude

A few days ago my wife Eva and I took a little walk after work to enjoy the last sunrays of a beautiful day. When we saw this old hut, I thought "why don't we try some 'portrait' shots"...

...so this one is the shot I like best... love the light a few minutes before sunset and her pose... just daydreamin' and fading away...

BTW, please listen to this fantastic song from a local band called CAMA while viewing the photo: CAMA - Fade Away

There are a few more shots I like - coming soon

I kept looking for the hat, when I finally realized you meant hut. My bad. Really nice shot. Like an ad for travelling to the town it was shot in.

Well I guess someone has to say it..I agree with everyone that this is a great image, but that jet trail in the sky drives me nuts, am I alone?

OK, couldn't help myself, hope you don't mind...

Wow, thank's a lot to all of you guys for the positive comments - really appreciate that, especially because this was my first time shooting such a photo!

@Bynx, now that you say it, you're totally right... of course I meant hut... a result of my limited english skills

@Hawgwild: Please feel free to edit any of my shots, if you think something would be better if it's done differently... if I compare the two versions, I have to agree with you... the jet trail is kinda distracting... gotta photoshop that out, thank you

Right about the jet trail it looks better with out. Great shot and so natural is the lighting I would at least reward your wife with a sun hat with some form of flowers on the brim or with out would not matter but it would look even like a vacation shot on a pamphlet please let us know where it is!

Hey SSG, thank you for your kind words.... a friend of mine said that if she would have worn a "Dirndl" (traditional austrian/german dress), it would be a perfect tourism advertise shot

The location is Arzl im Pitztal in the province of Tirol (the Tyrol) in Österreich (Austria) in Europa (Europe)... now google it to see where I live
