Default King Kamehameha Ceremony

Kamehameha the Great united the Hawaiian Islands by conquest and treaties and each year a ceremony honoring his achievements is held in downtown Honolulu where his statue stands.
here are some shots of some of the participants.

Nice series. I especially like the first. Nice color tones and nice job on the exposer. It looks like you had that brutal harsh light to contend with. Nice job.

Nicely done, selvin. Love the colors. Can't wait to see them again for myself. We're leaving for the islands Tuesday.

Yes for some strange reason the ceremony was held at noon in a summer sun. You know the old expression, mad dogs and Englishmen...
