Default Toronto Distillery District - Sunday Stroll

Lots of folk just walking around, sipping coffees and snapping pics. Everybody happy.

Never been to Toronto...or for that matter anywhere east of Thunder Bay.....I guess I'm a dyed in the wool westerner.

But Toronto does look interesting .....why do they ride those large push lawnmowers in Toronto ?

Out here in the west we drive cars and pickup trucks to get around.

Nice little series. Thanks for sharing Toronto with me. Do you have more pics?

The place is well set up for tourists with restaurants and bars and world-famous art. ie.: Koilos by Michael Christian.

The Distillery runs tours - 1/2 hr $40 -- 1 hr $70. You putt putt around on those Segways. They are a hoot to ride on. Only two wheels and it balances on gyros and electrical system.

Thank you for the info Bynx, it adds to the pix.

I knew they were Segways but couldn't figure out the connection with the distillery.

It looks like it could be a lot of fun. I've never been on a distillery tour, although I've often thought about the Whiskey Road Tour in Scotland.

My son just recently returned from a trip to Toronto. One of these days that would be a place I should visit.

Im so indebted to you frank for your trips. I was planning on going to Guildwood and the Brewery District. But after seeing your pics there is no need. The Brewery District might be good to go there early on Sunday morning or late at night to catch the lights but Im not really into shooting the tourist pictures. The ones with so many tourists.
