Default Fashion shots! Many photos!

I had the chance to shoot some of Swedens hottest models right now. It was a small fashion show and just a few special guests invited. I have never done anything like this. Itīs my first fashion shoot. It was very tight with space and people in the way everywhere. It was really really bad light. Just a few smaller spots. I shot it with 2 Nikon D5000. One with a Nikon 35mm lens, and the other with a Nikon 18-70. I only had the built in flash to use. I had to shoot with ISO 2000-2500.
Here are the results. What do you think?

The stickers have the name of the place on them. It was just for fun. This was not a dead serious fashion show. The models are friends of the owners and the public.
For me photographing, it was really disturbing with the stickers though.

Best regards/Daniel

With just the on board flash you did really well indeed. Shooting running models with erratic light source and fast moving subjects is absolute pain.
Thanks for sharing. I am more of a portrait person which means that I will not even bother with images of the fashion. I usually straight to the model himself/herself. Shooting fashion to me is just an excuse for me and a lot of fashion models want you to focus on them rather than their dress. A lot of them go into fashion just to get their portfolio built up.

Thanks!
Iīm not usually shoot fashion, but it was fun to try it out. The models liked my shots so much they want me to shoot some portraits of them.

Best regards/Daniel

They are not for fun. They are designed to deter you from stressing the models who are usually quite attractive.
Stickers on the dress is less brutal than these

Ryerson University graduating Fashion class 2008

Fashion models are routinely instructed not to smile at all on the catwalk. So you do not get distracted from the fashion

Yeah, these stickers were just for fun. The models are friends with the owners of th bar, and all in the public are friends with them as well. This was not a serious model show.

Great shots you have there.

Take care

Best regards/Daniel
