I can't think of a better way than to spend a day with some kids-in my case grandkids, and take in a ballgame.
The kids have great memories long after the game is over.

I hope you don't mind a suggestion, I took my grandson to his first major league baseball game two years ago. Like you, I brought along a camera and took a bunch of photos. When I got home, I framed the best photograph I had and mounted his ticket stub in the bottom center of the frame.

It's hanging on the wall in his bedroom and he's proud as a peacock to have it.
