Selvin,

I like the 1st one and agree with most of the suggestions made about the "corrections".

We had a cover made for the America 24/7 book using a photo taken with a 3 megapixel camera. It came out just great!

Readers,

Than you very much for your compliments and very sage advice. I will take a shot at getting rid of the glare in the background of the first shot.

I am encouraged by the fact that a few of you sent in photos for the 24/7 cover and were for the most part pleased.

I noted that Oprah gave each member of her audience a copy of the book.

Interestingly my wife bought me another coffee table photography book "These United States" which has a limited print of 5,000 copies and I found the scope and composition of the photos quite impressive but many of them very grainy/full of noise. I realize that this is a desired effect sometimes but in some of the photos I thought it was a distraction.

Again, mahalo to the folks who gave their thoughtful advice.
