Default New member of the family

The following pictures of Veronica, our granddaughter, were taken by my wife.
Like all grandmothers she adores her.

Any advice for improvements would be appreciated since we are thinking of using one of them to place on the jacket cover of the book "America 24/7" as a present to Veronica's parents.

I love the first shot Selvin.
Sorry I haven't been around much but I've been extremely busy getting ready for Christmas!

Since Veronica is the real focus I would try and darken the background especially where there is glare against the wood.

Those books are a great idea- I wish they had a publication for Canada.

I had the same idea and sent a 5 megapixel photo. Since the book is so big the picture didn't come back as sharp as I like but I hope my son and daughter-in-law will like the idea if not the picture. You might consider over sharpening the picture before you send it.

Grandparents certainly have a right to be proud. The best part is you get to spoil them then send them home to their parents

I agree with the photo retouch to darken the background and take out the glare on the first photo. The second pic is priceless. The pose is great and with a little work in photoshop could be a real keeper!

She's a cutie.

I love the first shot also. She is saying I am here to stay and you better get use to it. Beautiful baby.

Hi Selvin

Great photos!!! You must be very proud

I might suggest a crop to add her emphasis to her highness...

and "reduce the background."

Just two cents...

I'm a newbie, but I just wanted to say how cute she is! Wasn't that the book they featured on Oprah this year? I thought about it for my two boys. Anyway, congratulations, what an adorable baby!

Selvin

Do you use Photoshop? If you do, then place the baby pictue over a colorful map of the United States. Just a thought.

I agree with everyone, Selvin. That is one adorable baby! And the first photo is definitely the one for the cover. Ditto on toning down the background.

(If my son ever settles down, maybe I, too, will get the chance to spoil some grandchilden, then send them home. It would serve him right.)
