I was doing a baby (9 month old) shoot today and I convinced the parents to have a couple of very quick shots done in 2 or 3 mins while my wife looked after the baby. The baby shots will be here in a little while, the RAWs are still converting but these came up half way through so I decided to include them now while I wait.

Hey Mark, I really like these. I don't know if my monitor needs calibrating, but I thought your pics were a tad overexposed, so I tweaked the first one the way I do mine, feel free to remove it if you want. I selected her and adjusted the color for skintone, then inversed the selection and did some saturation adjustments to the yellow channel and the magenta channel. I have seen the baby pics as well, very nice, the parents will be happy with those. They also looked a little over exposed, but it could be my crappy hp laptop LOL

Very nice mark. I think Robert fixed something else when he was darkening the shot too, in his shot the skin tones look more natural to me, they are a bit cool in the original. his edit is a little warmer, maybe just a tad too much, but more flattering anyways.

these are nice though Mark, I like her expression in #1 over #2 though.

Thanks Hawgwild, it could well be that I'm still stuck using my wife's laptop which isn't calibrated as mine is still dead, it's getting a new motherboard which is a pain! Hope to get it back soon as this small screen and small processor isn't great for my editing etc.

Glad you like them Dustin, was a quick bit of fun while Liza rested.
