these are great mark. i think they really capture that youthful happiness that is just perfect for this type of shoot.

i think #1 and #2 are cute, but i think you can get a little more contrast out of them with a little more work in the curves tool.

4 is adorable. #5 is my favorite i think, very classy shot, but still cute and fun. and 6 is the cutest expression.

Mark, all I can say is "WOW"! I also agree on number 3, although the animal lover in me likes number 4 as well. All are spectacular.

Thank you guys, I'm pleased you liked them. We had a great time shooting this one

I think the parents are going to be happy as no one here does this sort of photography, it's all in the studio with fake backgrounds etc.

Dustin, if you have a suggested edit please do a quick mod and post it for me, it would help a lot.

Great shots Mark. What a little beauty she is and with kids it's not easy to get good pics.

I like these kind of portraits much more then studio. Nice use of DOF.

I agree, lovely shots.

A thought. As well as just throwing the background out of focus with a long lens, sometimes I really like a good background. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, but it can be really helpful in setting the mood for a portrait.

Of course the interior of one's house is not great as a background, so I do think it's great to get outdoors.

Because (I think) the backgrounds work best I like 5 & 6 the most.

Thanks guys, outdoors is a lot of fun for me and the children, always space (generally good, apart from when they want to use all of it and I'm playing catch LOL) and something interesting for a background.

Peripatetic, I liked 6 as the lovely orange is the sunlight while I'm shooting in the shade, worked out well.
