I realize I am pretty alone here, but I like the original one best. I get more of a sense of the vastness of the area and to catch it at such a quiet time is pretty cool.

Thanks a lot, Daniel, simple, jgredline.

I was actually hesitant to post the cropped version (and just post a URL link to the image instead) because I might ruin the experience of anyone who might have liked the bigger version. So I appreciate the comment, jgredline.

Saying I've "mastered this technique" put me in an enormous challenge so I thought I'd take a picture of another. I guess finding the subject in NYC is the easy part -- composing and post-processing properly to make the subject stand out is the challenge.

Love this photo. The perspective and colors are so right on. However, I concur with the rest of them regarding the subject being too far away, but after cropping the image, it just made a huge difference. I also like your second and third photos. Keep on posting!

Although it takes a minute to find the subject, I prefer the first. I like the open space showing. The single person in a big place offers a little more solitude and peace IMO. You have a number of great shots here! I like that they are original. I don't see many others like them and its nice to see the individuality rather than just the same old. Awesome.

Amazing capture! I love it!

As for the cropping, I like the 1st one myself.

Its a little more subtle in what the subject is. First thing I notice is the city. Then after a bit, I see the single person.

It's like finding a hidden treasure.

Take care,
Glen
