Default A few - senior, kids, self

I haven't shared many pics here so I just thought I would share a few. You're free to critique but I've already run them through the ringer of my own eye and through some other sites so I don't necessarily need the critique at this point. Just wanted to partipate in this aspect of the community a bit more:

First a couple from a senior shoot I did earlier this month of a local high school football player:

Really good stuff! Love the processing in the fist shot - very effective!

Number three is a winner for me! Great use of natural elements! Frank

Butterfly lighting generally does nice things for eyes so I give the credit to that.

Thanks.. I hope to do more athlete portraits and extend this look. I have lots of ideas towards that direction.

As John says, the first is great and the PP really works well. The 2nd is also strong but the wide lens is distorting his body too much so a little correction would help out.

I like the ones in the fields, very cool.

Glad you shared and hope to see some more from you!

Thanks so much, Mark. I do see the distortion. I know it's there and that it's technically wrong and that I'm probably a freak but I actually like the look of it. . I've always liked that wide-angle look in certain kinds of people pics. I don't use it too much because i know that the feeling isn't universal. God help us all if I ever end up with a fisheye lens! No plans for that though.
