Default Yoga Madness in Times Square

This was taking place in Times Square at noon today. According to Times Square's website, yoga enthusiasts are celebrating solstice -- the longest day of the year -- finding "tranquility and transcendence in the midst of the world's most commercial and frenetic place, Times Square."

I like in #5 how everyone is standing in a straight position except the lady to the left with her knee bent out. That candid shot is great. It made me laugh....like she knew you were shooting and wanted to be different.

Of course, in #1, the completely crass side of me instantly thought.....I hope they're all down wind. ;-)

Thank you, Shutterbug74, banksy, Jeff.

Regarding #1, I thought I heard a couple of pops when they bent over but that could have been New York traffic...

For the following two, I thought I'd try a harsher, sweatier-looking Topaz treatment. It was hot and humid and some were taking off their shirts between postures.

Great series! Very odd sight to see.

My fav is #4. All those out stretched arms really adds dynamic power.

Take care,
Glen
