The lighting is perfectly popped the image up. Great shot NHL, thanks for sharing.

the lighting is great in these.

i prefer the lines in #2 though, very classy shot. my only nitpick is the shadow of the right kneecap breaks up the line of the left leg a bit.

... and I agree! a more squarish crop centering on the hand would have worked much better - Thanks


The idea here is how much possibility one can achieve with just 1 light playing with the shadows:

I like #1 the best. It is softer and her skin is more creamy. Also, her curves are emphasized. In the second and third shots, it seems there is a little too much contrast.
