I try to avoid critiquing photos if it's not in the photo critique forum or if someone didn't ask for opinions. I'm not going to say I've NEVER done it but in general I think unsolicited critique tends to lead to these kinds of conflicts.

I have my cardiologist on hold. Please be gentle. Ive already had a triple bypass. Im weak. The slightest lensbaby photo will put me in the ground.

After saying that this thread will be flooded with lensbaby pics and all sorts of out of focus pics.

Aaaahhhh Bynx .... you're a squib

I do like the other 'positive' postings and the conclusion that 'the OP likes to be a "photographer" rather than a "post-processer" [no baiting intended here]

I also like to be classed as a "photographer" - always have been, always will be
I do like to do some 'minor pp' -years ago it was darkroom processing too- but the joy of taking good-to-great images far outweighs for me, the so-called pleasure from spending time at the keyboard doing post-processing

Regards, Phil

I knew this guy who liked dark images. He would never take pics in the daytime, always at night. He liked his images so dark in fact, he never took his lens cap off. When that was pointed out he got very irate claiming it was his creative talent which produced fine dark images. Well I had to agree with him. He was the best photographer at producing dark images. So now you can replace dark with blurry out of focus. Oh nuts, I just saw another image. I have to go and lie down now.

seriously tho, without trying to cause ruck, do you really like that picture of the glass?

coz if you do lensbaby must be the first marmite lense ever
(marmite you either love it or you hate it)
