It doesn't matter that you forgot the feathering. Your daughter is beautiful enough to overcome any of your mistakes.

Interesting technique... What would the difference be if you used dodge and burn instead... I'll have to give that a shot.

I don't think it would work as well, Michael, because you wouldn't get that gradual, soft fade. Dodging and burning works a lot better when used in smaller areas.

Well that's certainly an attractive model. One thing though, does anyone else see the veins in her forehead? Is that an effect of the advanced Faveon sensor on the Sigma SD9, or would you get that with any high megapixel SLR in a close-up?
