Default Pre wedding shoot - Kirsty and John

Did my first pre wedding shoot for a while getting ready for the 2012 season. These were taken around Burrator Resevoir on Dartmoor. It was a really grey and cold day but the couple did a good job and being up beat even if photography isn't their favourite thing.

Good pictures all....but the last one really appeals to me. It comes across as a private, unguarded moment...and I mean that in a good way. The moss covered wall and the tree provide excellent framing.

This appears to be a natural moment, not posed...they seem to be lost in conversation with each other. It has a storybook quality about it.

I have a feeling they will really like this photograph.

Thanks Les, it was one of my favourites too. Unfortunately the shot of them coming back didn't work so well as they rushed and were getting really cold so didn't go for it again.

Escept for #3, these are all top notch. Comment about #3 is that the emphasis strikes me as being the wall rather than the couple. Can you crop it in a little closer?

The thing I like about the images is that it captures the closeness of the couple in every image...the pictures do speak a thousand words....nicely done Mark!

FWIW, I like #3 -- it's like a secret kiss in a hidden fortress. I also love it when you can see girls on tiptoes kissing. I don't know why... perhaps it looks like they're really into it?
