Default Silly Shot Pre Prom

Was taking prom photos at a friends house. It was family and friends, and the two pictured wanted to do a flying bump in their prom dresses.

This was an informal set-up, no studio lights, using my D90 with SB800 flash on bounce and built-in reflector card, Sigma 17-50 2.8 lens at 640ISO. Vaulted/pointed ceiling.

Fun shot with great expressions, the colours don't work for me though, with a fix to the white balance (hoping it is from RAW) then it would rock!

By the way, the orange behind the girl on the left's head is some sort of stain on the wall.

According to my wife, who made part of the dress on the right, the dress colors are accurate, maybe adjust skin tones a bit. I kinda liked it a little more vivid in the colors for the silly mood of the girls.

Nothing wrong with vivid but it's the skin tones as there is no cyan channel in any of the key features, also the megenta to yellow is low. I would have a quick play to show what I mean but with no cyan you can't pull it back which is why I said about RAW. Doesn't take away from it being a fun shot though.

Thanks for the input, I've seen your work and it's excellent.

You're welcome and thanks. I wasn't trying to be negative, just to help a good fun shot get better. I don't spend too much time commenting but sometimes feel it is worth it to help someone out where I feel I can.
