Default Frontal shot (i won't warn of nudity here ;))

This is the second in the series, what do you think?

Is it better or worse than the other bodyshot? (www.wallphoto.se/duotone1.jpg)

I like this one better because it focuses more on line and form. Or maybe I'm just being contrary. I'm never sure.

Barbara

My wife tells me that women are not contrary they are more sensitive. She also tells me she does not sweat, she glistens. I am not a man to argue these points with her.

This reminds me of a kind of reverse to this: women gossip, men share information.

tough call.

I like aspects of both (am I wimping out?) but I think I prefer the first.

1) I like that the angle of the shot is slightly to the front. That shot is usually (too often, IMO) taken more from the side. That slight angle change made it more interesting to me.

2) The lines produced by both arms helps a lot. I'm not sure if the dark left side works for me or not. It was certainly daring to bring that darkness across the right arm into the middle of the picture.

Both are very well lit. You use light well... keep it up. People (including me) too often forget that pictures are also about light, not just about subject. You have shown what can be produced when you use light as well.

I like the geometrical presentation of this shot better.

The necklace starts your triangles pointing down, followed by the right arm forming another upside down triangle which transitions to the breast and finally to the left arm forming your last triangle taking the eyes off of the picture. Nice flow.

Now is where you might put the mole comment Norm. Just kidding around you would have had to see my post to know what I am speaking about. At least I hope that is a mole and not left over for the reason I gave in my thread.
