Daniel,

These are very sharp back lighted pictures. Th original size picture is so sharp, I can see the lady's whiskers. What camera did you used?

Exif should tell everything Pentax 20D and the 200mm was the DA*200mmF2.8
* is the Pentax equivalent of L in Canon vocab

The earlier on was on F6.7. Sharpness is understood.
But this one was at F4

Using this lens one needs to tone down its sharpness
