Again Im no pro, but the question is "what is a portrait supposed to be?"

No one can argue that the subject is not stunning. However, what is ironic is that, at this writing, the ad embedded immediately next to your post in the web page is http://www.portraitprofessional.com/...FYp_QgodDTkAcg

Assuming "Portrait Professional" represents what it purports, then an observation would be that your rendition might use better (more?) focus.

As for me personally, your rendition is wonderful.

Nicely done, I like the pose, lighting and the angle of the eyes.

I like the picture except for the color of the lips. She needs to put on more lipstick to make the color looking more even.

Default eye size

I have read that we should look at our subject and determine if she has one eye larger than the other. If so, then the smaller eye should be nearer the camera so as to minimize the difference and achieve a bit more symmetrical look, and therefore a more pleasing look.

Is that a good idea or just some body writing so I have something to read?

Okay. This rendition attempts to:

- Adjust eye size (use pinch/punch tool) and sharpen
- Smooths the lips and even + enhance lipstick

The intent was simply to try to incorporate everyone's comments.

No fancy moves. All very conservative just using simple basics in PE2.
