Default "Cumbia" Girl

This girl stands on the street during lunch hour waving customers into a restaurant nearby. She's dressed as a traditional "Cumbia" dancer, a folkloric dance from the North coast of Colombia.

G'day mate

I like the way the bright orange of the fabric contrasts with the dark skin then the braided hair reaches down as well ... she has gone to a lot of effort to make it all look good.

The face profile showing those beautiful eyes and lips make it a well rounded image
Well done
Phil

Nice shot, I like the bright color framing the bottom of the picture.

Thank you both. I gave her two dollars to let me take some pictures of her but the street background with vehicles wasn't very scenic.

There are times we can't control too much about background, or not practical to do so.
The over-expose and out-of-focus of the background does a good job on making the subject stand out in this case.

Excellent image. Nice DOF. The clutter in the background does not, at all, distract from the image of the young woman.

Nicely done.

Beautiful young woman that you've captured with a nice expression on her face. I did an edit on the contrast and color in Photoshop Elements...hope you do not mind.
