Default BW close-up

I'was fooling around with wide angle lens and external flash. The person in zhis phorograph is my colleague at work. He liked the picture so much that he made A3 format poster out of it
What I see missing here is focus on the eyes, do you think so?

IMO you have to much forehead. By cropping the shot a bit above the eyebrowes and still keep the composition you will get a "triangle" composition and a much more harmonic shot.

Iím curious as to where he will hang it. It should definitely be a good conversation piece.

Thanks Klaus, I never thought about cropping it. For sure I've got to learn a LOT about composition, but one thing is for sure - time and practice makes you better and better
Here's my second try:

PKChopper: He keeps it on the wall behind his desk at work. Don't ask me why

Yes, this is much better. The composition is very strict now.

guess your friend is going to have to get another frame, I'm sure he'll really like the modification.
