The proverbial blue-eyed angels. (Most of the time, right? ) Love the fingerpaintings. My own son would never do them because he didn't like "icky" stuff on his hands.

The only suggestion is, when using an on-camera flash, try to get your subjects far enough away from walls so you don't get that sharp shadow effect. It's tough to avoid, but it does lose some of its sharpness when it's farther into the background.

(Lord, but they're cute kids!)

thx for the advice and the compliments.
My kids feel the same way about fingerpaints. those are watercolors. (Sometimes i REALLY wish they'd get dirty!).

love the first photo, whats with the boy wearing pigtails?? reminds me of my younger brother when he was small, he lived in a household of girls and used to read all our girls magazines etc, Copy what ever we were doing with our hair, he knew more about womans problems and fashion than we did

The pigtails were naturally not his father's idea. But, as long as they're two, I guess I won't put up much of a stink.

Nice photos..... a lot could be done in PS with the second one... crop, clone out the door holes, darken above your son.... etc.
