Default Down on the dock.

One of my first pics taken with my Canon Powershot A80. My cousin and I were down on the dock, and he found a chunk of ice he wanted to throw.

By the way, I'm new to digi-cams and all, so all I did was put it on auto, point, and click. I could use some pointers and advice.

well...picture wise...it is pretty cool

but for internet posting, and optimum viewing..i'd suggest making them 800x600 and smaller....then you won't have to scroll to see them

welcome to the forum!!

nice shot. My Dad has just got the same camera, he is getting used to it (hes 73) now and has managed to embrace digital (with my help printing out his photos). We are really pleased with the results of the Canon A80. The skin tones are great even on an unedited shot.

Ya, sorry. I really should have made it smaller. I reduced the size by 50%, but I guess it wasn't small enough.

Anyways, the ice was melting, and a chunk fell off of the dock which he managed to reach with a very long stick.

I think it's a cool picture too. Look how clear the water is!

Looks like a wing aloft
