I must say that I am deeply impressed by your latest photos. Not only these, but the pictures in the other threads. You have learned much, that's for sure!

How did you get the grid pattern on the girl in the other thread?

And what filters do you use (if any), camera or flash filter.


(by the way, you might have sharpened/contrasted the eyes on the girl/girls in the top picture in this thread. They stand out a little bit too much in my eyes, otherwise a fantastic photo and you have used the soft focus filter perfect!)

Hi,
I used normal studio flashes for the indoor settings with some filters.

Outside I use natural light and a speedlight 420EX with white omnibounce for a VERY little fill in flash.

I have much to learn, but I think I'm getting there slowly

The grid by the way is done with a projector.
It is a 2 part picture one with projector one with flash.

I now know a better way of doing this .
