Frank - great shots. I like 1 the best, followed by 3 then 2. Did you use a star-cross filter for 1 and 2? It looks that way; I like it.

In #2 there seems to be a bit of glare from that first light that is making the blue sky not so blue. I wonder if it's just lens flare or if the front of the lens needs cleaned? Sorry, I know no one likes a critic, I'm just making observations. Really, I love your work. Your skill in composition is way beyond mine.

actually....to an extent....critizism...can be better, because you learn something from it.....as long as you don't overly criticize and you criticize so that they learn and not just for the sake of criticizing..

Hi,
THanks for al the super comments.

I did not use a star filter, I also wondered why the stars appear on the lights, maybe because of the el-cheapo Cosina 19-35 lens ?

Flare is also a problem with this lens, seeing in pic. 2.

Greetings,
Frank

NICE!!

Little test for you all.

Go out at night & squint at the lights.
You will see that star effect.

Likewise, when you chose f11 or f16.
Same effect.
You probably only choose that for the richer depth of field. :|
