I also don't understand the whole flag thing.
There is no harm or disrespect meant in any way.

Great photos. Even my untrained eye can tell how good you're getting. Kudos!


Now, to shed some light on the flag subject, it's really simple. Many of us were taught to believe that the American flag should never touch the ground. The official 'flag etiquette' web site says quite clearly: "...no part of it should touch the ground or any other object." and further: "The flag should not be used as part of a costume...".

I don't necessarily have a problem with your picture though. I truly believe you meant no disrespect. I'm just trying to explain "the whole flag thing". :-)
