I did a few shots for a friend of mine who is trying to sell an extra dress that she purchased. I took it in my guest bedroom using only natural light coming in through the window to the model's left. I'd love to hear your tips for improvement (as I hope to photograph more brides in the future)

I like the blue background. One sugguestion I can give is to get a reflector to lighten up the right side of your model's face.

This is actually Discodudette, but I think since you're trying to sell the dress you should get more of the dress in the picture, since that's what the people will want to see more than the bride's face.

You know my reflector was downstairs, and I didn't even think to bring it up. I noticed my need for it after the shoot was all over!

Hi,
I like them, especially your angles are very nice.

However I would place a small light on the dark side of her face, it's now a bit too dark.
Also alway's try to get both eyes lit at least. Sometimes very hard to do but move the head a bit or the lightsource (if possible) or the model and you will see it can be done.

Greetings,
Frank
