Looking to bolster my portfolio with a few new faces, I agreed to a few TFP shoots. Here's a few shots from Dominique's first shoot as a model. I am trying learn how to pose models (since I primarily work with amateurs who desire a lot of coaching), so any feedback on poseswould be appreciated.

Here's the first:

I like all three, but I like the black and white one the best, too. Nice shots.

I agree with the third one being the BEST.... In my eyes, you have found a model with potential.... I also agree with the need to work on posing. The third photo is good, I just think the first 2 need work. I also have problems at times with young new models. We are ALL in the learning stage... You will do GREAT if you keep on KEEPING ON !!!! :-)PLEASE KEEP US POSTED ON YOUR PROGRESS WITH HER...

Great shots.
HOWEVER, try some different mouth expressions I think she has great potential in her smiles, and maybe more serious looks.
She has a very nice appearance.
Experiment with expressions and it will become from a great model a superb model.

Greetings,

Frank

I like them all, but I have a question. Why are you shooting the color images at ISO 200 & the B&W one at ISO 400? Was there bad light or what?

Another thing I see is the last image was shot at such a wide angle (relativly close to the lens) that it semi-distorts her face. If that's what you wanted, it's no big deal (but if you did want that effect...why not make it more noticible)?

Hopefully, this is noticable distortion...

Looks like they were all shot at 50mm to me.
