Ok, since I've got more of this same Arab gentleman I'll post them in this original thread rather than create a new thread...

In this image a woman from our tour group had just accepted the offer to ride the donkey (for a fee, of course). The Arab owner of the donkey was expressing his happiness at selling a ride:


In this next shot the Arab guy and our tour guide were greeting each other, obviously knowing each other from meeting with other tours. They greeted each other by shouting to each other, "Habibi, Habibi!", which means 'beloved' in Arabic:

great shot, I love the way older weather beaten people show so much character, it's as if the lines on their faces tell a story

Thanks for looking at the photos people and for the compliments. As is usual for people shots, while I took the photos, the photos would be nothing were it not for the character of the subjects themselves!

I enjoyed the overseas trip immensely and now have been bitten by the traveling bug and can't wait to do it again! Who knows... Julie, I might be down in your neck of the woods in the next few years...
