I read all there was to read and went for the FZ20 and I am very happy.

I am not a photographer nor ever will be but I like taking photo's while I am living in Turkey through the summer months.

This was a wedding in Icmeler Turkey.

the pictures are very good, and for not being a photographer you sure know how to frame the photo!

The scenery is beautiful, and you have a natural eye for composition. Nice pics.

Thanks for the replies and the praise.

All were on auto as you can tell but hopefully I will learn how to use it manually and be able to take something resembling the fantastic photo's that I have enjoyed looking at on here for the past few months.

Hi. Nice Pics in composition but they seemed to be a bit over-exposed..
I ran one of them through Acdsee and just reduced the exposure settings a bit..
I usually love running my pics to fine tune them with a good tool like Acdsee .. Of course you will have to use the original pics to get a better output..
Hope u dont mind this...

See overexposure is something that I don't know about.

The camera is on auto so shouldn't all that be done.

I have put up two more photo's for you to see.

The one with the sea view I had the flash on as the first attempt left the subject dark and looks weird to me.

The jetski I just followed with the camera and hoped for the best.

I see this has been viewed 152 times. Now that triggered off something ! ...Many wedding photographers are using a 152 custom curve for their shots ....you can load these in the camera or do them in post in Photoshop...the idea is to maintain good overall exposure without blowing out the whites ...ideally you should always be able to see detail in a wedding dress no matter how white it is. This becomes more apparent on closer shots. Heres a couple of quickie examples. Love you shot btw ...just a little technical comment

John, i remember when i started out taking photos, I shot in color just to make sure nobody thought i was a photog. But 5,000 shots in i kind of gave up; now i am more around probably 7-8k. Just focus on the fun. Nobody says you have to be a photographer to take moving photos; it just helps sell people on them.:-)
