A friend asked me to take their holiday photo, this was the best of the bunch. Lighting was terrible, she wanted to do these in the afternoon.

I edited some, is there any other way to improve the photo? I used PSelements 2.

I think waiting until a cloudy/bright day or taking the pics in the shade are your best bets. This looks pretty good for the lighting you had to work with.
