cool, I thought you may have had a laptop:-), we get them (the fireworks)on GWN TV at 10.30 tonight, not quite the same really. Hope they were good. We only get fireworks here on new years eve and at agricultural show time. Maybe next time you will remember the camera:roll:

the one without the heads is much more artistic IMHO, because (1) the guys' facial expressions aren't that great (2) the crop is better (3) it accentuates the "native-ness" of the paint and tools. By they're all really great! Kudos!

i tend to agree, but everytime my girlfriend sees the headless picture, she bursts out giggling and says she is drawn to certain areas of the picture.

I imagine she is. I am too. But that's the point of the picture, right? Not to present the people as "people" but rather as art pieces demonstrating a particular aesthetic (and a particular heritage).

Love the first two, the crop is very very effective to be honest .

Greetings,

I have to disagree about the crop in the second photo - I think the picture is much nicer with the heads in.

There is a bit of a background problem but you're not afraid of photoshop - I'm sure you could do something about the background!

I like them with their heads on. But yes, I do see the problem with the background... makes you wish they were wearing some big feathery headgears. :G

Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated. I'll just need to compose it better next time so that it will be obvious whether to leave the heads in or not. But then again, art is subjective. =) cheers
