Some friends asked me to play photographer at their wedding last Sat.I now have new respect for the pros that do it.Taking the pictures was fun, sorting and processing is the real work.Still Im proud of my first attempt in less than ideal conditions.

Nice job, Dale! I'm sure the bride, groom, and family will be very happy with your pictures.

I might turn down the opacity on the border fringe a bit. Maybe you just added it to the photos you posted online.

Great shots but...

Fancy borders, frames, fringes, etc. are very much a matter of personal taste I think.

I think it only fair to give them a couple of samples and get their feedback before putting too much effort into "framing" them in that way, if they love 'em then go for it. :-)

Thanks guys,as you say framing is a matter of personal taste. I like it but I printed some samples W/WO so they can decide for themselves.I like it because it blocks out some of the extraneous background and draws attention to the subject.

Good job! You got the right feel for it IMHO...seen a lot of debate over wedding photos. Takes a lot of courage to step up and shoulder that wieght. Best regards,
