Jessica was helping me with assignments from class. We have always wanted to try this shot. This will be used for part of my last weeks homework. I like the results but wish I hadn't been so intent on going over classwork and changing ISO's etc. ...because we got good results otherwise. The tears aren't real, but she nailed the expression. We will do this one over and see if we can improve it. Thanks, best regards,

KennethD

Eyes and expression were what we were working on part of the afternoon...

Hi there,
It's very good, the moment (even with the fake tears) and the portrait.
I would like to see a litle more space in the front of the face and less in the back.

regards

ABSOLUTLY LOVE the first one.
The tears could have been real, she/you nailed an expression and that is one of the hardest things to do.

congrats on some wonderful shots.

Thank you for the positive comments! I was hoping you could see the expression the way I thought it looked. I know what you mean Frank, it really is a happy moment when that photo and the expression click. Best regards,

KennethD

That first shot is great, Kenneth. Well worth the effort. I hope you have more like it. Great collaboration.

First one for me too Kenneth. It looks like she has fallen out with her boyfriend, or her cat has died.

Well done to both of you.

...Except (in the 2nd photo), you can see the cat sitting in front of the window in the catchlight of her eye.
