I love the last 2 images, especially the last one (color vesion) but there is still a dominant yellow hue. I played wth 3 different adjustment layers but in the end settled on this one. Change image to CYMK, channel mixer, yellow channel and reduced the yellow and nudged up the black. Other ones I tried were nocking some yellow out using hue and sat but when I compared the 2 this just felt better. I then also did hue and sat and only played with the hue of the yellow, this came closer but still this I like and it worked on both images so I combined the 2 and showed before and after.

seeing it posted (always slightly different from seeing in PS) I went back and to quote Natalie Imbruglia, I am torn. So here is my hue sat version (top) took some saturation off yellow, incresed lightness, then changed master hue a little toward red. Then Icombined both and thatgives the bottom one which for now I am leaning towards.
